Do I need to book an appointment to drop off clothing?

Not necessarily! You’re welcome to just walk in during opening hours.
If you’d rather come on another day, you can schedule an appointment via info@luckybastard.shop or Instagram @luckybastard.shop.
Please note: pick-ups are always by appointment only, and only after we contact you.

What kind of women’s clothing do you accept?

We only accept high-quality designer items that are very recent.
We don’t take outdated brands, only fresh and current labels.

Items must be barely worn.
Please double-check for stains, damage, or visible wear before bringing them in.

Because of the oversupply, we have to be extremely selective — thank you for understanding!

We only create a sales overview if at least 3 sellable items are delivered (exceptions may be made for strong designer pieces).

By handing in your items, you explicitly agree to our policy.

What’s the best moment to bring in items?

  • Spring: starting end of January until August

  • Summer: starting end of March until August

  • Autumn: from August until January

  • Winter: from October until January

What condition should everything be in?

Condition is key. Items must be clean, odour-free, and ready for sale.

We cannot accept items with issues such as pilling, fading, stains, holes, missing buttons, deodorant marks, perfume smell, or worn shoes.

How do you decide the price?

We price items based on the brand, popularity, condition, and how recent the piece is.

Your share:

  • 40% under €400

  • 50/50 above €450

  • 60% for you above €550

You will receive a sales overview by email with a clear list of all prices. Please confirm your approval by email within two weeks of receiving it. If we do not receive your approval within that timeframe, we cannot put your items on sale in-store. In that case, you must collect your items within two weeks, and an administration fee of €5 will be charged.
If the items are not collected within those two weeks, they will be donated to charity and can no longer be claimed.

Is the amount paid out in advance?

No. Lucky Bastard works on a consignment basis, meaning we do not purchase items upfront.

How long can the clothing stay in the shop?

Items can be offered for sale for a maximum of 3 months.
Unsold items must be collected after you receive a message from us. Lucky Bastard will contact you within one month after your sales period ends.

Once you have agreed to the set prices, items cannot be picked up during the sales period. 

Picking up unsold items is by appointment only.

Sold items are paid out by bank transfer, but only after the unsold items have been collected. Any remaining items must be collected within one month after that moment, please respect this deadline and bring your own bag!

If unsold items are not collected within one month after receiving the payout/return email, they can no longer be claimed. Since we clear stock regularly, you will then need to contact us again yourself to arrange your payout.

Because this service is essentially free if items do not sell, all risk remains with the owner. Theft or damage is at your own risk.
You are also responsible for checking that all returned items are complete when collecting them. Once collected, Lucky Bastard is no longer responsible for missing items.

When are sold items paid out?

The end date of your sales period is shown on your sales overview. Lucky Bastard will contact you within one month after that date to close it.

From that moment, you have one month to collect your unsold items.
Payout for sold items is processed after collection, because we have limited stock space. There are no interim payouts or sales updates.

Payments are processed in the week following the week in which you collected your items. Please always provide your correct bank account number by replying to the closing email. Lucky Bastard cannot be held responsible for incorrect bank details.

If you still haven’t replied or collected your items six months after receiving the closing email, you will no longer be entitled to a payout. Your sales overview will then be closed permanently in our accounts.

Can I exchange items as a buyer?

No. Items bought in-store cannot be exchanged, because they are unique pieces sold on consignment.

Please check the item carefully before purchasing. Lucky Bastard checks everything, but something can always be missed.

For online purchases, you have the return your item within 5 days and shipping costs are for you.

Is the clothing new?

Most items are barely worn.
Sometimes we receive end-of-series items. Any wear is always reflected in the price.

Can I reserve items?

Yes, we can reserve items for 1 day only.
Reservations can be made through our social media. If the payment is not received in time (1day), the item(s) return to the shop.

Do you ship by post?

Yes, we ship via Bpost.
Shipping costs are paid by the buyer.

How can I pay in store?

You can pay with Bancontact, Visa, Payconiq, or cash.
